How many episodes of Lost do we have left?

I was a little disappointed in this episode... I feel like not much was accomplished except for how Kate "killed" the man she loved.

It seems that by going on the raft, you are assuming most of the risk. The likelihood of dying on the raft, compared to the island, is much greater (but we have the benefit of previews that show the struggle with "the others" next week, so you can't take that into account). There is the risk of weather, starvation, sharks, etc. I would think the most you could survive would be 1-1.5 months. But if you do survive and get picked up, the search parties should locate the island to save everyone else.

But, going on the raft is necessary, IMO. The search parties have probably long ceased and the only way of being spotted would be on the raft.

With the size of the raft, I think 4 could easily fit with supplies.

Is it just me, or does the raft look a little too "refined." How can people with no tools make something has such straight lines/edges and dimensions.

did they say why there needs to be 4 people ? I agree with 2. If I were Michael, why wouldn't I keep it limited to 2 ?

michael said he worked in construction, and jin is the son of a fisherman, so that at least makes it plausible.

i don't think michael ever said why 4. it was always him and his son but then they needed supplies from sawyer. i think it's more for the drama of them fighting for spots, although maybe if it's a true sail boat they'll need people to man the sails and such.
