Lost threads?

I made a post in the gh forum around 20 hours ago, and it's gone, and also some other messages in the gh within a few threads (or at least as I can remember). Did you have to restore a backup or something? And I had another thread in networking, that seems intact and had posts from 31.oct. I don't know about the other parts of the forum, but it seems like there are some missing in the gh.

Those threads are gone.
Make new ones.

They had to restore from a backup. I have a theory and it ain't pretty. I hope I'm wrong.

Anyone knows anything more? and if we can get some "real" confirmation about this?

Not having read any threads yet, I'm sure the community's just buzzing with speculation and "I know what happened, kinda" talk about why and how the forums went down. I think the mods know what's up and they have the foresight to know what and what not to tell. Like everyone else, I'd like to know just so the rumors can die but I'm willing to accept being left in the dark.

(Please note: The following is intended to be humorous only and in no way desparage any company or technologies...)

"Maybe it's time to switch back to Intel Servers......"

(End of attempted humor, save the flames)

Ya'll have a nice day. Thank you Anand and the crew for an excellent board and all of your hard work.

I can appreciate that humor, ScottMac! :)

Anyway . . . what was is not . . . if you look at the various form message dates, you will see that very few 31 October notes survived. I guess it was AT's version of Trick or Treat. :D

it's not the hardware, its the software. they should switch to linux:) they won't do that because they've invested in fusetalk so heavily, and as we all know coldfusion only runs on winblows.
