They too are being held captive on the Island against their will. They are doing what they are doing to jack and them because they are being forced to by some other influence. They are being threatened or coerced into taking action they normally wouldn't. The others aren't as evil as we are being led to believe.

They aren't prisoner's on the island, they are based on another island.
Just nitpicking. :)

Tough one to figure out after they basically told you that in the last episode..

which means there is a hell of a lot more to it than that... because anything one episode states is a scratch at the surface in most cases... or irrelevant.
oh and the episode kind of only made it seem like one other is holding them all, Henry (drawing a blank on his real name) kind of directly said the girl would be able to go home.

Held against their will by who(m)? Ben? I doubt that he alone has the power to hold them all there. He does have some power, if he'll be able to let Juliette go.

Given that, I don't understand. IF Juliette helped K&S escape so Ben could live so she could go home, what would happen if Ben had died? Would she have been stuck there? She surely thought about that when she asked Jack to kill Ben.

I also wonder about the end of the first season when the guys @ the North pole or wherever found the blip on the screen, indicating they may know where the island was.

I like lost, and I agree. Best show on TV :)

The question on everyone's mind is....do they have as big an appetite as you?

I heard that some of them are christian smokers, so they must be evil.

They have transportation (boats). They told Walt & Michael how to leave (the coordinates).

They travel to the USA to recruit people for their team (Julliette).

But clearly at least one was somehow, and to some extent, held there against her wishes (Julliettte again).

Not quite sure how this qualifies as a "theory", since it was on last weeks episode.
