Lost the Password for the Internet Dial-up......how do I....

my GF lost her dial up connection password but it is saved on her computer on her mothers profile. I have heard of being able to get the password for windows when that was lost before....my question is there a way that I can go into the windows files and find out what the password is in her mothers account so I can change it in the GF's ???
