Lost spare drive rails, where to get new ones?

Was doing some spring cleaning and I managed to throw out a box with some computer stuff in it, only real loss was the snap-in mounting rails for my X-clio case.

X-clio is kind of no-name brand, I just bought the case because it looked cool 😀

Thing is, their website sucks, theres nothing on there about ordering spare rails, tried e-mailing support and it bounced back saying their mailbox was full 🙁

I've scoured google can't find any there either. I was planning on adding another HD to my system, but by the looks of it I'm screwed.

Any ideas???

Can you post a photo of your rails? I have many saved over the years.

In our city there's at least one new-and-used computer parts store where they keep used parts around in bins. I once needed HDD mounting rails and they let me paw through the box of used rails to try to find some that would match the ones I brought with me from home. It's the old "bring in the old ones and we'll try to match them" technique.

Ok, took me forever and a day to find an image of these so i wouldn't have to pull em out myself. You snap them into the sides of a drive, then just slide it into the bay. They are quite handy, but for the past month I cannot find any spares, anywhere!! The only used computer parts store around here is a Goodwill, and I highly doubt they will have anything of the sort because everything in there is at least a decade old.

Anybody have any ideas where I could get some of these buggers?

Never seen any like that. Best bet - search for Drive Rails on E-Bay for something similar. The other alternative is to create something to hold a drive, eg., velcro.

improvise..people use stuff like bungees even to suspend drives, devise your own solution, drill bolt holes etc. its not rocket science. hack away

I've scoured ebay and google alike. The last solution I've come up with is finding people that are selling the actual case on craigslist and offering em 20 bucks for 3 spare rails. If that don't work then I'm gettin out the duct tape and paper clips.
