Lost some respect for my video card today

It still gets my vote for greatest video card of all time, and imo it's not that close.

Considering a review back in 2006,

are of new cards with pretty much the same architecture, I would say that's a fair statement.

Definitely. I'm actually still using my 5+ year old 8800GTS for Folding@Home.
