Hello!

I seem to have misplaced my setup CD for my Netgear WGR614 v3 802.11g router. Now I cannot install this software and therefore cannot set up my home network. I tried visiting www.netgear.com but they only have firmware downloads. Does anyone know where I can obtain the setup files?

Thanks in advance,
daba

Have you tried calling them? They may be able to send you the cd for a cheap price. I lost my setup cd (read: broke) and called them and they only charged me $5 for a replacement disk. Give it a shot. Of course this was before Cisco took over but their policy may be the same.

Cisco bought Linksys not Netgear. Also, you should be able to just type in the IP address of the router into your web browser and access the web interface to set it up. It should be 192.168.0.1.

Just look through the quick install guides for the IP of the router... and you dont' need the setup disk... it is webbased...
common IPs that you might want to try are
192.168.1.1
192.168.0.1

after looking it up netgear's default is 192.168.0.1 so try that, it should be that unless you changed it before...
