I thought the episode was good.

As for the battery, I see no inconsistency there. Not every device uses the same sized battery. Maybe the transmitter uses a propiatary battery that is made specially for it's use ... we'll never know.

I want to know what Kate did that got her arrested in the first place.

Everything points to her being a good and caring person. Even in the flashback you SAW her caring for the old man who turned her in. I'm thinking it was a mistake/misunderstanding that put her behind bars in the first place. I don't know why the marshall keeps insisting you can't trust anything she says though. Why so insistent ?
 
No, it's not about dinosaurs, but there is some sort of creature that we haven't seen yet. You should do like I did and get the torrents. I'm hooked, but I think it's also due to the fact that it was my 1st show in hdtv. I want a hdtv receiver now.
