I have about 80 files that were encrypted using AxCrypt. The password was never set but just the passcode and its been awhile and I can't remember it for the life of me.

I've heard that the encryption isn't that strong and can be cracked in a short amount of time.

Is there somewhere I can get help to crack the encryption or is there a cracker software?

Anyone that's board PM me your Email address and I'll send you one of the files and you can decrypt it. I got like 35 files in one folder. The same passcode must be for all of them. Thanks.

If I looked at the right page it looks like it uses AES so your only real option is to brute force the files.

If it's using AES, you're pretty much out of luck, unless the password/phrase is very short. I don't know if AxCrypt uses AES or not....

There is no solution besides bruteforcing the passphrase. Encryption is designed so that you need the passphrase to decrypt them otherwise it would be worthless.

Also, please don't resurrect 4 year old threads...
