Lost part of my My Music Folder

I moved my My music folder to the shared documents folder, not knowing it would actually move, and not just be shared. When I tried to move it back, it wouldn't. Now, a lot of my music is gone. How can I bring it back? System restore doesn't work.

What exactly do you mean by saying a lot of your music is gone? Did some files disappear after moving the folder or something? Please be specific.
