Lost pages while Typing in Word, Any way to recover?

I have a user that lost a few pages that she was typing by accidentally clicking on NO when closing out what she thought was just another documents window.....she had open the document that she was working on in the background of Word 2000. Is there any way to get back when she canceled the save on? I seriously doubt it myself as I have never heard of a recovery like that. I know it would possibly recover some of what she typed if the PC had shut down while she was working on it though, but not when she would click on Cancel to save changes.
Anyone know for positive??

She told Word that she did not want the changes saved. Word did what she asked.

The auto recovery file will not help.

Exactly what I thought.... She was just begging me that there was a way around that. So I figured I would post here to see if there was some other mistical way of getting it back.
