It's pretty lame. I've cancelled my cards, and I can probably replace everything for about $100, assuming whoever took it doesn't do anything I have to pay for. (I only assume that someone took it because I'm 99.9% sure of where I left it, and it wasn't turned in.)

People are lame. The end.

I lost my wallet once.

I was overseas when it happened too.

I had to take a dump really, really badly and it was in some traditional market in Asia that only had those crappers where you have to squat over them. It was gross and I'm totally not use to squatting over a dirty hole with my pants around my ankles. I'm pretty sure the wallet fell out in that smelly little room.

Luckily, I was like 7 years old and only had like US$7 in the wallet along with my beginners swimmer certification card.

Sorry for your troubles.

some student lost his wallet on the campus. i picked up and gave it to campus safety (now public safety) to take care of it.

i don't know what to do with their business, maybe they took the money before returning to the student. :Q

Use to lose a wallet every few months before Grade 10. Then I finally grew a brain and put it in my rear pocket, then felt my ass every hour or so. I still 'feel myself up' to make sure it's there every once in a while. Haven't lost a wallet since.

When i find a wallet or cellphone I try to contact the person directly. Going through channels usually results in people getting robbed for cash.
