I lost my Sprint PCS phone - it's not coming back.

They put the phone on suspend so no one can use and are waiting until I find it so I can put it back on the network. I have reason to believe it has been stolen.

My friend just switched over to verizon and still has his old Sprint PCS phone.

Can I use his phone to get back on the network, i.e. hook it up to my current number that is linked to my los (i.e., stolen) phone?

TIA

Tim

Probably. Just call them up and ask to take your account off suspend mode, and give them the ESN of your new phone.

When my phone was stolen I brought my old phone in to a sprint store and they transfered the number over for free.

Edit: Unless they charged me without telling me. :Q

IF Sprint has no outstanding charges against the replacement phone, there will be no problem
