I doubt anyone can help me but I have 2 PNY GTX 690's that I bought about 4 years ago and they came with a lifetime warranty. Well I lost my receipt and tried to contact the pc shop that I got the cards from to try and see if they could provide me with a copy of my receipt, But they are no longer in business. Well I emailed PNY 6 times explaining my situation and was ignored every time and I gave up.
Well recently I opened the box I have my cards in and frustrated by the dead cards, I tried to contact them again and someone responded and I told them about how I was ignored 6 times before and the guy was pretty rude and just emailed back no receipt can't help you and was rude about how he worded it. I then asked him for a contact to a senior employee and he basically said no that he was the be all end all and that was final. So I emailed back angry by then and said I'm asking once more for a contact to a more senior employee. Well I guess someone reviewed his emails as someone else responded apologising but still said sorry no receipt no RMA but I'll send you a flash drive as a token gift! a $20 flash drive while I sit with over $2000 worth of dead video cards.
Well he then said do you have an old scan of your receipt on your computer perhaps? Well I don't but that's why I'm here " I was wondering if anyone might still have a receipt from their old PNY GTX 690 or better yet for 2" . I know there is slim chance anyone has one after 4-5 years have passed, hence I lost mine after all this time. I just thought I would ask in hopes of a miracle! It's not like these were your average $200 cards they were over $1000 a piece, You expect something that cost that much to last.
Well PNY does not seem to think so. I personally think the cards are defective from the start and PNY knows it, I have a few reasons to believe that is the case but I won't get into all that now as I've rambled on far to long as it is. Thanks for taking the time to read my long winded post.
