Got a question. I installed rh9 and now it wont let me run it because it doesnt fine the radeon 9700. Probably because i have a 9600. Can someone tell me how to fix this issue? It wont let me in the gui. I can use root but no gui. Help me???
 
Did you install RH 9 with 9700 and then swapped it for the 9600? If that's the case then you probably have to re-configure Xwindows. This can be done from the console when you login as root. I believe the command is xf86config. It is case sensitive.

Try this:

In the command line type 'x' and press the tab key twice. Try it with 'X' as well. It will list all commands that start with that letter and you should be able to find the right command. Then just follow the prompts. The config program will create the required files and test the configuration. If it works you are all set.
