lost my password for windows xp

Ok I am log in under guest right now. I want to log in on my main account but cant due to me losing me password. I tried using safemode and no luck. Please help Thanks
 
Did you ever create a Password Reset Disk? When you created the password, did you create a hint? The former, if up to date, will allow you to get back in to your system. The latter, if you created a hint, may help jog your memory.
 
I have all MS updates. I change my login box to look like the the windows 98 one instead of the new. When I did that I think some how my password change. I am for sure I know what it is and its not working.

BTW: I never made a Password Reset Disk.
 
acutally you can boot up into safe mode and login as Administrator with not password (which is not set by default exept on xp pro where it asks you to during setup) and once in administrator you can change you password there
