Lost my Ipod Mini yesterday....

I don't feel that bad after a day. I brought it with me to school (I always do that), and on the subway, I put it in my bag. 5 hours later, when I went to look for it, it was gone. I open my bag alot, so I could have either dropped it when I was getting a book, or someone could have stolen it while I was going to the bathroom during class.

When I found out I lost it, I was a little pissed. But I didn't feel THAT bad about it. I have no Idea why, as I have seen some people cry after they have lost their Ipods/Cell phones. Guess it just wasn't that important to me. Also, it was very chipped/scratched. The screen had like 4-5 scrathes on it, so I think that if I were to sell it on ebay/ for sale/for trade forums, I would have only gotten like 80 bucks for it max. Then minus shipping, thats 75 bucks.

One sad thing though. There was a promotion on some random site where they offered a free Ipod skin for signing up. I signed up around 6 weeks ago I think. It arrived today 🙁.

That sucks. But it gives you an excuse to drop $300 on the new video ipod 🙂 (I really wanna lose/break my old 10GB 3rd Gen Ipod, although, it's treat me pretty well)

Why not just sell it so that you have a little money towards the new one?

To TallBill: Think about how much you could really get from a 3rd Gen 10GB Ipod. Next to nothing, bud.

To HamburgerBoy: Yes! Of course She does. What kind of mother doesn't buy her precious child all the latest and greatest (and most expensive I might add) gadgets? Certainly any good one would.

Actually, despite the fact that I am only 13, I bought my Ipod with my own hard earned cash and would buy a new one myself as well. But I am the type of person who can't justify buying something like that when what I have is in perfect working order. And by the way, I was joking about purposely breaking it 🙂 I really hate the misconception that anyone who is young but has something expansive is "a little rich boy." My parents do not give me a penny besides for extra jobs around the house.

Got my DSLR stolen last week, I was pissed for the night about the pictures on it but now I can buy a new one🙂
