Lost my God of War Collection savegames...can get back to where I was?

My PS3 died recently so I lost all my savegames in God of War Collection (I was playing GoW II) since I switched to a PS3 slim. Is there any way to get back to where I was without doing it all again (I was at the Steeds of Time level)?

Not unless you have your old PS3 hard drive.

On that note, backup your saves occasionally to a USB drive... you never know when you'll need them again.
