Lost in Translation

I usually love a good artsy flick, but this movie bored the hell out of me. Great acting, etc, but when the credits rolled, I just said "Seriously? That's it?". Oh well.

Usually I when I have some chick over, I play this movie. And most of the time we do other stuff while movie is playing

boring... there are many other films that do emotional despair better.

eh? it depicted tokyo through the eyes of a foreigner I suppose...
too many cliches, etc.

but the emotional despair part was captured well, and murray's portrayal of a man in a mid life crisis was quite realistic.
