Lost In Translation the movie - gun question

In the scene where Charlotte's friend Charley Brown gets mad in the Bar,
the bartender whips out this "toy gun" and starts shooting at them.

What kind of gun was that? And what was it shooting? like paint balls or something?

was just wondering if anyone knew 🙂

not sure about the brand, but pretty sure it was an airsoft... (definitely not paintballs)
