I know how to display maps and Terrain (contour maps) in online Google Maps (browser), but after installing the Google Earth program, I am unable to display a standard map and a contour map.
All I can see are the satellite view, and if I zoom in, a 3D view (videogame like) and Street View. I have read the Help without finding anything.
I assume I can use Google Earth to view a standard map (see link below) and contour map (see link below) like it can be done on the www.maps.google website. On the web site, the contour map is named "Terrain", and the map is accessed by clicking the Map button.
Maybe I have been wrong in my assumptions and there is no way to view regulars maps and contour maps in the Google Earth program, but it seems unbelievable it would not allow these basic functions.
Example of standard map:

Example of contour map:

My question is: Is there a way to display these maps in the Google Earth program?
Thanks
