Lost hard drive space, can't find it anywhere! help me!

I was playing around with the windows disk management volume resizing to create a shared drive between 2 operating systems (dual booting).

However, after I shrink the windows partition, the extra space is gone forever. It doesn't show up as free space anywhere. The kicker is that as you can see in the pic, disk management still report the drive as a 74gb volume while windows is reporting it the volume as 62gb (I shrinked the volume by 12gb)

Nevermind, I got it fixed. have to manually extend the drive via command prompt as windows disk partition is too stupid.

Hmm, any reason why you have the OS partition at the end of the drive ?
That is the slowest place for it to be.
It should be after the 200MB reserved partition, unless of course, the next partition is another OS.

The other 63gb partition is my Mac OSX (Dual booting Mac/Win7). I wanted to create a common shared drive so that both OS can use it.
