Lost couch seat cushion

So I bought a barely used 3-sectional couch from some guy off of craigslist. The transaction went without a hitch.

We used my friend's pick-up truck to haul it. We used some tarps and rope, one of the seat cushions fell out when we hit a bump--didn't realize this until we got home.

Has anyone else have this happen ever? I sent an email to the manufacturer asking if they sell replacement seat cushions. I called this factory in southern CA but since it's a holiday weekend, they're not open.

What are my chances of getting a replacement cushion? I'll pay for it, not expecting it for free. Btw, Happy New Year, everyone!

It's a black leather couch made by Ashley Furniture Industries. The piece that I lost was 1 of 4 square cushions. I mean, I am hoping people get these replaced from time to time from stuff like accidents with animals ripping them, gun shots (God forbid), or just dumb luck of losing one during a transport hehe.

I found one, I'll sell it to you cheap. It fell out of some drunkards truck weaving on the highway.

How far did you drive on the trip back? I ask because I once left a jacket with my wallet in the pocket hanging on the back of my Van & drove home like 40 miles, realized it was missing, retraced my route & FOUND it on the side of the highway... might be worth a try.

I live about 30 miles from where I bought it. It was already getting dark so we didn't drive back, plus I didn't want to lose another cushion hehe.

i was moving a couch in my old pickup and had a cushion fly off on i85 in the middle of downtown atlanta. i ended up throwing out the couch.

Well I paid $750 for it so I don't want to toss it out. Hopefully I can buy a replacement cushion or have one made....

I'll bet that you can order a replacement. This must happen enough that they accomidate for it.

Go to a good uphulstory (sp?) shop and they should be able to make one for you that at least matches close enough most people won't notice.
