I have a portable usb storage thingy
But I lost the cap that covers the usb connector. Would I risk any harm to it or my data if I put it in my pocket with my keys and cell phone? WHat comes to mind for me is that in a pocket you can build a static charge and if a charge builds up in the usb connector then it could potentially damage my data. Any thoughts?
I also wonder if Lexar would be kind enough to send me a new one (just the cap of course)?
