Lost Apple iPhone 5 app contents

I've looked in iCloud and there is no longer a record of this app with its contents.

I always often backup to iCloud and my PC.

Is there any hope of me getting back what I appear to have lost here?

I'm lost without the contents.

Any assistance here please?

Thanks in advance.

Is anyone able to assist further please?

I go to iTunes and try to restore, click on my device name and am only given 1 to backup from.

How can I backup from an earlier version?

I constantly back up my iPhone and expect older backups to be available to "backup" from.

Do you pay for extra iCloud storage? Do your backups to iCloud actually complete?

To restore from iCloud backup, you could reset your device in Settings > General > Reset >

Then set up from the device instead of doing it from your computer.

Hi,

Thanks for your message.

I have started to pay for for iCloud storage just recently.

My backups always complete yes.

My concern with resetting my iPhone is the chance of loosing stuff off it.

My other concern is that what i appear to have lost may not be there.

Is there a way to see what's there?

Also, what advantage is there doing it via from device?

Can you answer these and explain how I can do as you are suggesting please?

Do you have a response please?

Thank you

I think the only way to see what's in an iCloud backup is to restore from it.

I don't recall if a computer running iTunes ever gives you the option to restore from iCloud. I do know it would give you the option to restore from any local backup you had made.

When setting up from the device after performing a reset, I know it will prompt you to restore from your iCloud backup or "set up as new iPhone."

If you have iCloud Photo Library enabled and your entire camera roll has been synchronized with iCloud, you shouldn't have anything to worry about when it comes to wiping and restoring your phone.

When you restore from iCloud after resetting and doing the on-device setup, it even lets you start using it before it's fully restored. For example, iCloud Photo Library downloads thumbnail images for all your pictures and videos, then starts downloading the most recent ones and the others are downloaded on-demand as you try to access them.

I choose the "optimize iPhone storage" option for iCloud Photo Library because I know the full uncompressed picture or video is in my iCloud account.

That is a very Indepth response and is greatly appreciated thank you.

If you've already advised then please tell me.

If not please can you direct me how to restore on phone?

Thank you,
