yeah, there are some wonderful people who are helping. it's especially nice that penn state opened its doors to the college students down there.

To be honest... i wouldn't mind going down there and helping out. Serving food or passing out water bottles or something. I am out of work and just sitting here watching. Of course, I would have to scrape togther the money to get there... But I would do it. I honestly would.

Edit: Dr. Spainer is a wonderful guy... personal friend of my dads for about 15years.

if you could, you should, though i'd be really scared to do so since fears of being attacked and swamped by the needy continue growing.

i hope they do save them.

crazy pic!!!

I'll say it again... some nurse at the hospital there went outside for a break and promptly got robbed at gunpoint. I'm not so sure you guys want to be down there until it gets much calmer.

a lot of the universities all over the country are opening up their doors, i know in Texas there are at least 10 schools, including Texas A&M and UT that are letting students in

it's crazy how that page is getting more posts than :Q ATOT.

the college student thread that i referred to two hours ago is now on the 9th page (posts 901-1000). it was on the first page when i created the OP.
