Authorities have been unable to locate a woman's arm that was severed during a car accident early Sunday morning.

Brenda Humphrey, 34, of Romulus, was listed in serious condition Tuesday evening at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Washtenaw County, hospital spokeswoman Lauren Stokes said.

Monroe County sheriff's deputies spent hours looking for the woman's arm after the incident was reported about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Stephen Humphrey, 39, told deputies that he and his wife had been at a bar in Milan before the accident.

Monroe deputies could not confirm alcohol played a role in the crash. No others vehicles were involved in the crash. Humphrey is expected to recover.http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060704/UPDATE/607040388

While backpacking in Ventana Wilderness (Big Sur, CA) this weekend, I saw a teenager backpacking with her dad. The girl had only one arm.

I thought that was the girl that lost her arm to the shark, but my wife said she looked different.
Props to the girl and her dad.

I thought the Romulans had pretty advanced technology? And if Worf can have his spine replaced, this woman can surely get a new arm from Star Fleet.
