Lost a file from Bookmarks

Running MS XP, Firefox with "My Excite" browser. In my Thunderbird Bookmarks drop-down I no longer show a file name even though it is still in the Favorites file. I recently upgraded to FireFox 3.5.2 and I understand that there are problems losing the whole Favorites file, however I am only missing this one file name from the drop-down. Can anyone tell me how to restore this file? thanks
