so i had a HD crash, and i lost my 7850 OC settings, can somone help me out and post their OC for the 7850? im running a Asus stock version (non preOC)

i usually play BF3 or the witcher 2 all day..... and my computer is also left on 95% of the time...

Nobody can tell what was just perfect for you. You need to remember that or repeat the process. Usually CCC max is not a prob at stock volts with a moderately aggressive fan profile.

Stock settings for a 7850 are something like 860/1250. Depending on your card and case cooling you may be able to really rev it up, but in any case you should be able to hit something like 1050/1450 even if you have a crappy cooler and case airflow.

I can't imagine taking more than 5 minutes to get a ball park oc and probably 15 minutes to find a max OC. Overclocking video card's isn't as time consuming as cpu's nor as complicated.

I'm at 1180/1350 @ 1.165v completely OCCT GPU stable for 8 hours, which is unrealistic, but I like to run my rigs 24/7 Stable. Runs all benchmarks and gaming, and 24/7 stable. the difference between 1180/1350 and 1220/1450 is not noticable gaming, so not worth it to me. Down the road I may pump more juice, but it won't be needed for a while since I am setting up crossfire in the next day or two.

I can go as high as 1220/1450 stable @ 1.165v for Gaming stable, but find OCCT GPU Load usually will freeze things up within a few hours.
