"Lost" 6x13 "The Last Recruit" Tues. 9pm NO SPOILERS UNTIL AIRED

"The Last Recruit"
Alliances are made and broken as the Locke and Jack camps merge.

Only 3 more episodes after tonite, until the 2 hour finale.

Juliet, Juliet, wherefore art thou, Juliet?

The big reveal tonite is that the island is Iceland! And Smokie is now in control of Europe!

Hey, I was wondering. Of the original survivors of Flight 815 who is still alive in the island timeline?

Jack
Kate
Sawyer
Jin
Sun
Hurley
Claire
Bernard (assumed)
Rose (assumed)
Walt (assumed)
Vincent
Sayiid
Locke (maybe?)
The flight attendent and the two little kids

Anyone else?

I can't wait for the Magic Explanation of Everything in the next few episodes. I have a feeling I'm going to be sorely disappointed 😀

They can't win. I think everyone will be disappointed because they won't explain every single question. As long as the ending isn't something really dumb like the last "Life on Mars" (US) I will be happy.

I don't expect them to answer all the questions. In fact I don't expect them to answer 51% of them. Just tell me what the island is and the "reason for the story" and I will be content. Watching Lost is about the journey to me, not the end destination. It is/was COMPLETELY entertaining no matter what they end up explaining. It is/was the ultimate water-cooler show of all time.

I think they already explained what the island is to my satisfaction. I have a pretty good idea what Jacob and MiB are, so it's not going to take much to explain that. Hopefully one of these will be a Jacob/MiB flashback episode.

Well you're right... maybe We already know what the island "is" but a greater picture of the whole scenario. Like why these candidates and exactly who/what Jacob/MiB are etc etc. I'm looking for bigger picture questions to be answered. Not all the little stepping stones.

What did they explain the island to be? This may be yet another one I either missed or forgot??

If by Kate you mean Charlotte then you are correct. Although the latest Doctor Who companion is my new favorite redhead. 🙂

You must like boys then:

It was explained only with the bottle analogy: that the wine in the bottle is MiB (evil) and the island is the stopper that contains him. Which really explains nothing.

just like the black rock landing on the island explained why the statue is only a foot. which still left the question why was there a big statue in the first place.

don't get me wrong, i totally love lost.
