Ben tries to persuade a determined Locke to call off his destructive plan by offering him some of the secrets of the island, and Kate's reunion with Jack does not go off as planned when she discovers that he has made a deal with "The Others."

This is the third Tallahassee reference (the others have not been positive. :( ) Now we have Locke, Sawyer and Kate back stories mentioning Tallahassee, which also happens to be home to one of the most powerful magnets in the world. A powerful magnet already played an important part in the story - just wondering if any of this is at all relevant.

This should be a good one.

BTW, who the heck is Nikki & Paulo? Those newbs... they shouldn't have their own episode. ugh

I think we have seen them in the charlie and the claire episodes.

on a side note, it'll be interesting to see what locke is up to...and how he ended up in the wheelchair.

I know. I'm just sayin'... they weren't even part of season 1 or barely even 2... but for them to be introduced right out of the woodwork as having been part of the main crash victims tells me that the producers were scrambling to fill in plot lines. I guess they have shown that they can eliminate people with no explanation (Bernard and Rose, eternally building an SOS symbol on the beach out of rocks, never to be heard from again), so why not introduce them with minimal explanation as well.

Not to seem cranky... I enjoy the show and am looking forward to tonight's ep. :)

Yeah, rumor has it he struck a 4 year, 2 million dollar deal to play as WR for the Others.

i hope the episode lives up to the hype, i recently started watching prison break and heroes. and i must the writers of these shows are damn good, they answer the questions quickly and still have more to keep you interested, cant say same for Lost, here's hoping that they dont put up another poor episode again. ;)

Nah...that's purely speculation. He's just attending tryouts at this point.

Anyone know where I can watch the previous episodes of season 3, except for ABC? Im havin troubles with ABC's site...

Any suggestions? Im trying to catch up, and I am finding this show to be really good. Really lookin for 03x01.

Consider downloading the episodes through bittorrent. Google btsites, they should have links to tutorials and a listing of popular sites; I recommend the aggregator mininova for your episodic television needs, and I also recommend the utorrent client if you are unaware of it. Emule is another option for rarer files. Perhaps itunes offers the show for download if you want to go that route, although I wouldn't know how to go about it.

This episode reminds me of my John Locke's father theory that I had about the time the character was introduced: that JL's father is the same conman who screwed over Sawyer's family. Not sure if that's an original idea or whether its blatantly obvious, but there it is.
