Yeah, me too. This is all I could find:

Jack was never on the list. Both Goodwin and Ethan were given a list of people who they were to take. In this episode we find out that Jack was never on the list. Danny had stated that Jack was never on Jacob's list.

Sh!t, I still can't remember any "jacobs list", and who is Goodwin?

The only two lists I remember are (1) the list compiled on season by Hurley (I think) that named all aboard the flight, and (2) the list from the "others" of who they wanted brought back to them. They gave the list to the black guy (Michael?) that was trying to rescue his son.

Can anyone explain?

Personally, I trust Ben more than I trust that damned blonde. I don't trust her at all.

I agree. I think she's the dangerous one. She wanted Ben dead so she could take over. The others seems to like Ben so he can't be as bad as she says.

I think she and ben were an item and got in a fight. now they're enemies, but ben is still in charge and she wants to take over. you might be right, she may be more evil than ben :Q

Found something at a lost forum:

I rewound and listened to that a couple of times. "They weren't on Jacob's list" - referring to Kate and Sawyer. They were bait to get Jack there, because he's the man!

The list that Michael was given did have Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley on it.

Is Jacob Mr. Eye Patch? I don't think so, the lists seem to come about from Others dispatched to infiltrate the camp. Is it possible there is another infiltrator still among the Losties at the beach? Yes!

I'm thinking perhaps Ben is not the leader of the others, and maybe this Jacob fellow is the top dog.

I have a good feeling Ben will not make it out of his surgery alive, which is a shame as he holds the answers to quite a few questions.

that makes no sense. why did the others fake operate on him? Why did they take him to see the other island?

And why the hell would the others show their leader that he's on a separate island? There goes that 90% certainty

I do agree that the show has gone downhill a bit in the past few episodes, but I still think it's the best show on tv right now, and it's good enough to keep me watching the rest of the season.

lol, that was the first thing I noticed when I was watching this. i'm a huge firefly fan and when I saw him, I was like, "OH SH!T IT'S NATHAN FILLION!"

that was my favorite part of the episode right there. nathan fillion is a badass. but Jayne was a cooler character in Firefly/Serenity

I think these first six eps have been a drag, doesn't have the pizazz that either of the previous seasons had. I think the two completely different story lines are slowing the show down too much.

Same. It just seems as though nothing actually happens in the hour long show. I couldn't believe Kate and Sawyer didn't run. Geez, at least they'd have had a chance to find a boat or something.

Did you watch the whole episode or something?

Sawyer didn't run because he knows (or atleast thinks) that they are on a completely different island and that they will just be running in circles on the island until the others eventually find them. they have no where to run to in their eyes.

How'd they get on the island? A boat... The others have them. Escaping undetected, they'd have the element of surprise. They could find a boat, overpower the lone inept guard if there is one, and so sailing off into the sunset.

People HAVE escaped Alcatraz remember.

Lets also throw into the mix all that testing and crap they did on Claire and the baby remember? Where was that lab? On the same island as where the crash was as we know the Losties found it after it had been gutted. I think its safe to say The Others have been in their current location for a while now isn't it? I mean I find it hard to beleive they packed up everything and moved from island to island over and over.

And what about the 2 dudes in Antarctica? And the plane drop? And now "Look up and head north"

Sawyer is not an other, we saw his backstory/flashbacks. We haven't seen that for an other.

kate's husband is not ethan.

i think jacob must be some person higher up than ben. i was wondering if when ben told locke "you're one of the good ones" he might have been referring to the list. i can't remember if desmond's girlfriend's father was named jacob or not.

and wasn't there a list from the first season that had the names of all the people that got taken or something that they found on the body of one of the dead others?

i doubt sawyer is an other. ben, the leader of the others states "i've been on this island my whole life". i suspect the other others have been as well.
