This show is SOOOO annoying to me. I keep trying to watch it, but I really haven't enjoyed the pacing since the first season. I think my days watching this show are numbered . . .

I think Henry Gale (a.k.a. Ben) has a boner for Kate.

Realizing she likes Sawyer, he does mean things to him infront of her to... uhhh... umm, win her affection?

I wanna know what happened to Desmond after the Hatch imploded!

That really surprised me about Locke and that little drug operation there considering he was so opposed to Charlie's using.

Desmond time travelled.

It is easy to know why Locke is opposed to Charlie's drug use. Locke tells the undercover cop that he will help bring the owners to justice and then he gets shot by the owners when the feds come to close down the farm. Afterword he gets a job at the box company that is owned by Hugo.

That sounds plausible I suppose... how do you know he helps Eddie and gets shot? Just a guess?

God, I almost thuoght I missed some of the show

Commericals:
1st half had less. But hte second half was back to the same BS from the past 2 weeks. STOP IT ABC or NBC ... whoever you are! Channel 231 on the HD!!!!! Or else I'll be watching it on the torrent channel.

1st half of the show was awesome. 2nd half was OK.

And someone from Fire In The Sky was in it. Can't figure out who. It was the guy running the camp in Locke's flash back.

OK story ... but really went no where.

It's a legitimate compalint because BS like this can drive viewers away and lead to a shows cancelation.

Yes, it is a guess. Locke is a good person and SO far has not killed Eddie. He has an out right now, by siding with Eddie. He was sent out to the woods to clean up after himself and his other actions in the episode point to this.

It's the same. Go download ALL the torrents and it's all 43 minutes long. Get over it.

Did nobody else see that Ben was a security guard during Locke's little dream sequence in the hut? Or was I seeing things?

Yup, ben was s sercurity guard checking on sawyer, jack, kate. Is it me or is Charlie the most annoying character? Too much sarcasm from him. And we finally see Claire not involved with the baby at all.

Those commercials every 8 minutes were annoying. It kills the pace of the show and dwindles my interest in watching it. Don't these networks know how to balance making money and putting on a good show?

That airport scene was nuts...Hurley as the airline worker, Ben as the security guard...

And I agree that Charlie's definitely upped the bitch factor, he was sucking it hard today.

As for Locke...I like how they cut him down a bit with the flashback, so everyone doesn't always think that he's superman. Couldn't even shoot a cop in the back, heh. "I'm a hunter"...just keep telling yourself that.

Not so much "wtf" today, so it was nice to just have an episode progress the story...although Desmond's future-seeing was interesting. As was Locke's spirit-trip.

WRONG. BSG = best show on television.

LOST has the worse pacing ever, and the fvcking commercials make it worse. BSG has the same length, but it has a longer intro, and the commercials aren't so bad. I donno, it has much better pacing.

LOST and BSG are the only two series I watch on TV, but man, watching LOST on TV BLOWS. (watched seasons 1 on DVD, 2 on torrent).

One thing I absolutely detest about LOST are the lame coincidences. The cast all have some sort of connection w/ each other. That's lame. The chances of that happening are so low, that it really takes away from the show. The whole dreams and hallucinations are just dumb. they should never have that in the first place. The show would be a lot better if there weren't those lame coincidences (the characters all meeting before the island) and the lame dream/prediction/crap sequences.

other than that, it's a quality show.

But BSG is far better than LOST. But I enjoy both.

Skip the show, watch it online @abc.com. There are still commercials, but very few, and they're only 30 seconds tops.

I think there are more commercials. They don't have any between Dancing with the Stars and The Nine. They just stick them in during Lost.

I feel the same.

The first season actually had direction and I think the quality of the episodes was much higher.

Now it has turned into something from Sci-Fi. They are just making crap up to string more and more fans along. It is going to back fire though. I am already getting bored.

lost is not sci-fi. i remember (i think it was season 1) when the creator of the show said that EVERYTHING on the island has a legitimate explanation. nothing is made up or fake. and I can see how so far this season it's starting to come together a little bit.

i mean we thought the polar bears could never in any way be on that island, and then we see 2 bear cages at the Others base that are empty. so they were obviously captive at some point.

there are just a bunch of little things like that, starting to come together in a neat way. i dunno, this season has me more interested than season 2 did. i love this show. it's the show i look forward to the most each week.

Geez, I don't know why you people complain so much about commercials. It's not like they're brand new to TV or something. P2P and Tivo has turned us all into a bunch of spoiled brats. :disgust:

And as for the show, it's still a top quality show in every way. The direction, acting, writing, cinematography, production design, and music are all unmatched in right now. Heck, even the visual effects, when being used, are darn good too. In comparison, my wife and I started to watch Jericho, the new Lost-like show on CBS. I'm getting to the point where I can't watch it anymore; it's just so much "cheaper" than Lost in every way. And don't talk to me about 24, which *really* has degraded over the years...

Back to Lost - did anybody get all of the stuff on Eko's stick during its close-up?

I'm starting to think that pushing the button was supposed to be a metaphor for watching the show.

can we make two Lost threads from now on?

one for the show and the other for those who keep complaining and threatening to stop watching it?

i don't know what to make of Desmond's "future telling". despite the show's crazy premise, i can't believe that he somehow traveled in time. that only leaves me to think that either: a). Locke is in on the experiment. the speech was planned, but wasn't yet delivered when Desmond was talking to Hurley b). the experiment has profiled Locke in such a way that they correctly assumed he would take charge now that the "leaders" were gone. both theories, however, mean that Desmond is in on the experiment as well.
