When Charlie's in the tree and he tells Eko to run, there's a blast similar to the "dust" from S1 and the camera goes into a "monster chasing good guy" angle and you can hear a sound similar to the one the security system makes.

I like how in the preveiws for the next episode they didn't say anything like "coming in January" or "in 4 weeks". They didn't give any type of date at all, they just showed some previews talking about the future of LOST.

isz this the first year you've ever watched TV? Sweeps is over, and almost ALL shows go into reruns during the break. Good Lord, it happens every year. Did you hear that we landed on the moon?
ayup....the button thing is actually a famous psychology experiment...I got a chuckle out of that.

Kinda like the book (and movie) "Sphere", by Michael Chrichton. After going into the sphere, the people would create manifestations of their dreams in real life while they slept. Good book, the movie was ok.
Wrong. That was actually Kate's REAL dad. Kate saw pictures of the "army" dad while he was in Korea and these pics were like 4 months before she was born so apparently "army" dad isn't the REAL dad. And then she says "why didn't you tell me Wayne was my father". So she killed her REAL father.
there's a couple variations...neither one is ethical by todays standars.
the first is you put someone in a situation where they think it's real, (like the island), and then leave instructions much like what they have on the island there. It's basically seeing how long someone will keep pushing the button without any reinforcement. It's basically identical to what's happenig on the show, but without the plane crash/island thing.
The second, and UBER famous version, there's a button connected to some wires, which go to the other side of a wall. The experimenter tells the person that each time the participant pushes a button, an individual on the other side of the wall gets a shock. The thing is, the person on the other side of the wall is really in cahoots with the experimenter. The wires aren't actually attached. The participant just thinks they are. So the participant hits the button, and the cohort on the other side of the wall says 'ouch'. Then the experimenter turns a knob and says that he's turning up the voltage a little. The participant htis the button again, and the cohort then says 'OW!', the experimenter turns the knob up again, participant hits button, cohort screams this time. It keeps going until the participant refuses, even under heavy pressure. As you got higher and higher the cohort would be screaming 'FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY I HAVE A FAMILY I'M BEGGING YOU STOP PLEEEASE' etc. Eventually teh cohort woudl stop responding as the voltage went exceedingly high, and people would STILL be hitting the button. They got some participants to go up to 400 VOLTS before some participants would stop.
You know what would've been funny?
