Thanks! Looks like an arrow in the middle. Isn't there an arrow in the painting that was in Desmond's bunker? Points to the sun I think. Maybe the disease has something to do with that other bunker and people being in the sun. Someone, Locke I think, pointed out that the bunker had no natural sunlight. Maybe the quarantine had something to do with staying out of the sun? Who knows with this show? Just grabbing a straws.

Okay, so a search for "lost candy bar" leads to a book published last year about a kid who capsizes his boat and his Hershey candy bar falls into the river. Later, they go recover the boat and he finds the candy bar, but the chocolate coating has been stripped off.

2FEN06

wtf does that mean?

sorry about the size of the pics. wanted to keep as much detail as possible.

Not sure what it means, but the morse code title of the bigspaceship page now says "chocolate Asclepius"

quick search reveals asclepius was the son of Apollo and the god of medicine and healing. And his name means 'cut up'.

Who knows if these are actual hints or if they are just messing with people.

For the most part that episode was boring as hell. But there is this little nugget. Walt's picture was on the milk carton during the dream sequence

http://lost.cubit.net/pics/waltMissing.jpg

Oh, and the fact that Hurley's boss from the chicken place was the same guy that was Locke's boss at the box company.

so the guy was working two jobs or at different times, the same guy was the boss.

I don't know that. It's the same actor and the character has the same name, Randy. Not sure on the time frame.

But Hurley does own the box company that Locke worked for. Maybe he hired the guy?

here are two pictures:

lockes boss:http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=10/28502313984.jpg&s=x10
hurleys boss:http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=10/28502312660.jpg&s=x10

they don't look the same

It appears I was led astray.

For a while i was more excited from the commerical with the TomTom GPS device, looking like they making a push, but then Kate's shower scene took the cake. Its like they knoew that the episode was a little dull so they put her in half naked.

The symbol on the sharks tail in the 2nd (?) episode also looked like an arrow, not the Swan symbol.

Personally I thought the episode was fantastic (as is Season 2)... Sophomore efforts always take a beating no matter what as its nearly impossible to live up to expectations. Not to mention in season/episode 1 you have the "new factor" that wows and draws people in.

One great thing about Lost isn't just its "mystery" and weirdness, its also an incredibly well written and played out character development show. Which this episode surely was for Hurley. With of course the mandated "WTF??!" scenes.

The show hasn't lost a step IMHO and being that for every little thing they toss in the show a new URL pops up, msg boards light up and people start deploying their google-fu, seems the audience still loves it.

Dunno if anyone has pointed this out yet here or wherever but:

go to oceanicflight815.com, click on the barcode at the bottom and type in "theislandiswaiting"

************* SPOILERS ************* ARE CONTAINED ON THE SCRIPT (duh)

SUPPOSIDLY its a page from the script of Episode 6. Being that this is a real ABC site, I guess I'd find it true.

fck Lost, this show is sh|t this season... answer a god damn question

quit your whining. If it's too much for you, go back to watching Sesame Street.

too much? they haven't answered one question since the beginning of the show... the writers dont' even know where they are going with the show. and yes I am done with it

They've answered quite a few questions. The only thing is, with each question answered, there are more questions that arise.

I look forward to your comments after you finish watching tonights episode :D

honestly...what questions have they answered?

beast that ripped out the pilot....nope
where did ethan rom come from...nope
the 'black smoke'/nano bots that were after locke....nope
the radio tower that the french woman was broadcasting from...nope
what's in the hatch...check

any that i'm missing?

The more questions they make up, the more holes they'll have by show's end.

It'll be one big mess.

Do the writers/JJ Abrams care? Nope. They just want to string along viewers with enough questions (due to the natural curiosity of people) UNTIL $YNDICATION

This show will be a BIG dissapointment.....like all JJ Abrams projects. It's his money-grubbing carefree signature.

Someone on the fuselage has finally done it! I'm 100% convinced Darkpirahna/Diablo237 have cracked it.

" There are six constellations of Apollo
1. Cygnus = swan
2. Sagitta = arrow
3. Corvus = crow
4. Crater = goblet
5. Ophiuchus = serpent handler
6. Orion = the hunter

six constellations, six stations, one great candy bar.....what does it all mean?" -Diablo

"Okay... here's another cool website that has some interesting things in it.

http://www.jburnell.com/Messier.html

These are all what are called Messier objects (like the hockey player), more about which can be found here

http://www.seds.org/messier/

the exciting part is looking at the names of the constellations that each one of the objects associated with the Numbers comes up as. I'll let you click on the link above to see for yourself, but a summary is:

M4 - the constellation Scorpius (scorpion- not familiar with this constellation)
M8 - Sagittarius (archer)
M15 - Pegasus (winged horse)
M16 - Serpens (serpent? not familiar with this one)
M23 - Sagittarius (archer)
M42 - Orion (hunter)
M108 - Ursa Major (bear)

Anyway, don't know if it means anything but it DOES sort of line up with the Numbers in a few ways.

It should be noted that both the swan and the arrow are constellations. The swan is Cygnus, and the arrow is Sagitta (which is where we get Sagittarius). Cygnus is also a known black hole.

So we now have two hatch logos, both of which are constellations. Don't know if it means anything, but there you have it.

The floor is open.
" - Pirahna

Anyway, I'm 100% convinced each station represents one of the six labs from Dharma, each studying something different.

What we have here are six constellations (actually really only five) that have a relationship with the Greek God Apollo.

1. Cygnus = swan
Cygnus dove into a river to save Apollo's son (Zeus had hit him with a thunderbolt) and Cygnus swam back and forth (in vain) much like a swan - Cygnus became a constellation
www.coldwater.k12.mi.us/lms/planetarium/myth/cygnus.html

2. Sagitta = arrow
There is no established myth associated with Sagitta
www.coldwater.k12.mi.us/lms/planetarium/myth/sagitta.html

3. Corvus = crow

4. Crater = goblet
The crow, the cup and the serpent. Apollo sent his crow for water - the crow took too long - returned with a hydra (snake) in it's beak and blamed the delay on the hydra. Apollo struck them down and then these constellations were set .
www.coldwater.k12.mi.us/lms/planetarium/myth/crater.html

5. Ophiuchus = serpent handler
Asclepius - the Greek god of medicine - Apollo's son
www.coldwater.k12.mi.us/lms/planetarium/myth/ophiuchus.html

6. Orion = the hunter
Apollo tricked his twin sister Artemis (goddess of the moon) into killing Orion (whom she loved).
www.coldwater.k12.mi.us/lms/planetarium/myth/Orion.html

I do think that this is all related in some way to our island mystery (even the mural).....but

This theory then shows these Messier objects that correspond to the numbers but in my opinion has not tied them to the six constellations that the theorist has tied to Apollo. Yes, the Orion constellation is present in both sets of info but it's the only one. Therefore I don't think the numbers are finally cracked.

Not sure what you're talking about but a Hershey bar is pure chocolate, i.e. no "coating."

Right, how do you reverse an MD5 hash? Is it even possible?

[Edit] Found something that might do it. Results later.

[Edit2] Damn, this is going to take forever, as the hash is "usernamepassword" in one string. Anyone with an exceptionally fast machine want to help out?
