I heard this also. The question desmond said to Lock:

What did the one snowman say to the other snowman?

Well, Hurley told this joke in season 1!!:

It smells like carrots.

He did? What episode was that?

Wow, that's crazy if Hurley knew the answer to that. What a fvcked up show. It's really crazy. So many things have happened and I just want all the holes to get filled!

As far as the "roughed-up version" of Michael, that could be that old, African American lady's husband. You know the one she always thought was alive still. The other people on the plane probably ended up on the island as well and got all sick. Is that black lady not around the camp/caves anymore??

And yes, the "vent scene" was NIICE! :)

has anyone noticed that the symbol within the logo (the logo is the whole hexagon thing) is different each time? it seems i saw one that looked like a snake or a goose neck (basically a curvey shape) and then the one on the shark looks like a bar... i'd liek to see what's on the bear..

do you think the timer releases an animal each time, unless it's reset? and maybe after a couple times, desmond had reset it, cause he had released the shark and the polar bear? maybe like that one star trek:ng episode where that defense system launches a new, more improved drone each time one is defeated?

when locke was questioning desmond, he asked how long he's been there, did he answer?

My bet is that, like the Matrix, there will be hundreds of ultra-cool and slick theories and explanations, but in the end, also like the Matrix, the "conclusion" will be utterly lame and worthless, making everyone wonder why they spent so much time worrying about it.

:(

I get the feeling sometimes that the writers don't know where they are going with everything, and are just thinking of crazy stuff to have happen, and eventually it will all fall under some big conspiracy that doesn't really make sense. I hope not, though.

I doubt it. Theres too many things that were subtly foreshadowed in the earlier episodes that are showing to have significance now.

hurley knows the answer to the riddle and he knows the numbers needed to kill the countdown

so either hurley is the man desmond is waiting for, or its the crazy dude he met in the asylum

In the rerun last night, the shark was darkend out and the logo on his tail could not be seen.....Anyone know why they would edit an old episode for a rerun?? That makes no sense.

Because it was cheesy as hell and blew holes in the storyline. Why didn't the bears or any of the boar have tatoos? Or was this a "guardian" shark?

That's all. Most likely, JJ saw it after it showed and went "Doh....I thought I was putting in an easter egg for 10 years from now, but now I have to waste time explaining the shark down the road.........ah, F it....anybody have a sharpie?"

Hurley is not the man Desmond was waiting for. Desmond clearly said "Are you sawyer?"

Does this mean that the sawyer we all know and (sorta) love is the man he was waiting for? I don't know, but its not good ol' Hugo.
