Lost 1T timing option in BIOS when upgrading cpu

I'm puzzled about this. I'm running an ECS nForce3-A mobo with 1gb of Corsair ValueRAM. I was running this with a 3100+ Sempron OC to 2250 and at 1T RAM timings. I recently upgraded to a 3200+ Venice Core Athlon and since I installed the cpu, I lost the option select 1T or 2T command rate. Nothing else changed in the system other than swapping the A64 for the Sempron. It's locked at 2T without an option now. Is the Athlon locked at 2T and the Sempron isn't?
