Dont know where he is coming up with his numbers from, but a loss of a $38 Billion contract has gotta have SOME impact (material or otherwise).

It's not really a loss... think of all the technology that was developed through the Comanche program that can now be used in other areas.

Not to mention, $38 billion is not that much money.

Not to mention, $38 billion is not that much money.

The army will upgrading current airframes and buy more with that 38bil as well.

Its not much money as percentage of the defense budget, but to 1 company, it sure seems like an awful lot.

It's too bad they pulled the plug on the Comanche... I wanted to fly it (I'm going into Aviation hopefully).

Current rumor is that they will have 7 built to allow some of the technonlogy to be developed that will be transfered to other programs.

Breifings within Boeing at the end of this week.

Then I will know how much longer my paycheck will be coming in 3-5 years worth of rfurture work out the window.
