It's not really a loss... think of all the technology that was developed through the Comanche program that can now be used in other areas.

Not to mention, $38 billion is not that much money.

Its not much money as percentage of the defense budget, but to 1 company, it sure seems like an awful lot.

It's too bad they pulled the plug on the Comanche... I wanted to fly it :( (I'm going into Aviation hopefully).

Current rumor is that they will have 7 built to allow some of the technonlogy to be developed that will be transfered to other programs.

Breifings within Boeing at the end of this week.

Then I will know how much longer my paycheck will be coming in :( 3-5 years worth of rfurture work out the window.
