losing dsl connection

i keep having to reset my dsl modem in the morning to get the internet back on .i leave the pc on 24/7 .the modem i have is a bt voyager 210 brand and i checked with the isp everythings ok there i do a bit of p2p but not much

Grr I hate these BT routers. Do you mean the 2100?

If ISP's detect alot of activity on P2P ports sometimes they will force a disconnection on the line in question so you loose queuing and free up bandwidth for people in your area, since on your ADSL connection you'll be effecting everyone else's contention ratio [in the UK out contention SUCKS]. Try it without your P2P running, just browsing etc and try in the morning and see if it is still working. If so *ding* there's your issue. If not, could be a faulty router/modem.

thanks.i left dc++ on today .internet working fine ,when i come back -all indicators lit but no internet.when i checked control panel theres now a question mark over the router .so i turn off and on the router and everythings ok again .i suspect dc++ is interfering with the usb.tech support suggested using the ethernet plug instead so i need an ethernet card for that.whadaya think
