lose-lose

Kind of dumb. The whole point of games is to vent aggressive behavior. Good games will let you vent aggressive behavior and reward you if you do it smart. 😀

Heh, this could be fun... Give it to someone you dont like much and say you got 10,000 points or whatever and brag that they cant beat it, when they come back later to brag they did beat it ask how their mp3 collection is hahaha.

Probably just does any random files on the C: drive...

Uh, no. There are files on my computer that I really really need to save. No way in hell I want this thing blowing away my research papers or military documents.

"Is the player supposed to be an aggressor? Or merely an observer, traversing through a dangerous land? Why do we assume that because we are given a weapon and awarded for using it, that doing so is right?"

sounds like more pussification of america

The big problem with this quote is that the game-maker doesn't understand that the point of a game is to play it. What possible reason would you play a game that punishes you for trying to win?

Exactly. Aggression is in the nature of every contest, whether it's a shootout or a debating match. Without opposing forces there is no contest, and without contest there is no resolution of winners and losers. That's what a game is. I assume this guy's project is meant to be nothing more than a philosophical statement.
