I'm looking for the Lord of the Rings Movie Trailer as a downloadable MPEG or Wiindows Media File (No Quiktime or RealPlayer!! I hate those!).

I've been looking all over the Internet for the Lord of the Rings Movie Trailer but all I could find were dead links and the extended Trailer with the actors/directors comments (34MB MPEG).

If you could tell me a link where I can download it...

The official one is RM RealMedia => RealPlayer (RealPeaceOfCrapPlayer).
But it exists as WMV and MPEG / MPG.
I just couldn't find a working link.

Is there a way to watch RM or Quicktime in the Windows Media Player?
I mean is there a plug-in or codec you can install so WMP can play those files?

Um what's wrong with real player? The quality is absolutely fantastic on the 1000Kbps version and looks GREAT in full screen even. The link is in my sig.

No but I HATE the RealPlayer (it f*cks up the system) and the Quicktime Player (to heavy, slow and just plain stupid).

I can't wait for the movie.

What i really like is that, probably the first time in history, it will be shown here before the USA (NZ)

I'd wait in line for days if I had to for this one...

It opens here the same day, but we are the better part of a day ahead so i will effectively it on your 18th. Because i have an affiliation with the local theatre chain i will probably see a preview on about the 16th.

The reason why it is significant for me is that we are usually an aeon behind. Major movies ofen arrive here a few months after they premier in the US.

If you did come over you could always go for a walk around the sets. A lot have been disassembled now, but i think some still remain
