Lord of the Rings Online

Hey folks I am currently in the BETA for Lord of the Rings Online and created a tweaking guide for anyone with an older machine like mine. (see my signature for link)

So far I have found the game to be solid, but I have not had a chance to get in to the meat of it yet. The character selection is very unique and so far the development is a bit slow, but well varied.

Is anyone else playing?

I played for a bit. The engine is derived from the Asheron's Call 2 engine, which I do not enjoy. It brings too many memories back at what a train wreck AC2 was.

I never played AC2 so I have been spared those bad memories.

I found the story lines great, the graphics are beautiful and the way the questing is done is very fun! I have not had a chance to play since the last big patch, but I doubt it will diminish my enjoyment of the game.

I have already pre-ordered.
