I got the 'mithril edition' package of things; haven't used it yet.

My question is, now Steam has a package that sounds like it might also be a good deal.

Would you suggest it's worth $15 (50% off) for the Steam pack as well?

The Steam and then the Gamestop packs are listed below.

Exclusive Noble Grey Steed: Saddle up on this striking grey steed as early as level 5 and travel across Middle-earth 68% faster than on foot.
Three Bonus Quest Packs: Continue your adventures through the troubled Northdowns, tranquil Evendim, and frigid Misty Mountains
25% XP Boost Token: Earn 25% more experience from monsters while you have this token equipped, all the way to level 65
1,000 Turbine Points: Customize your experience in Middle-earth with 1,000 Turbine Points. Buy cosmetic gear, rare mounts, experience boosts, buffs, and more.

•Exclusive Steed of the Horse-lords' Mount
◦Travel Middle-earth in style with this exclusive in game mount! Saddle up as early as level 5 and be on your way to adventure much faster than on foot!

•Path of the Fellowship Bonus Quests
•Forge your own legend in Middle-earth alongside Aragorn, Legolas, and Gandalf. From the Shire to Rivendell - adventure in a masterful recreation of Middle-earth! Includes the Trollshaws, Eregion, Mines of Moria, and Lothlórien.
•2,000 Turbine Points
•Customize your LOTRO experience with 2,000 points to spend in Middle-earth! Buy cosmetic gear, rare mounts, experience boosts, buffs and more.

I'm pretty sure the best deal is still buying an old moria box set for 20ish bucks off amazon. You just won't get a fancy horse.

Fancy horse isn't hard to get in game. I'd go with the Moria box if you can get it.

Actually, I already own the Moria box as well. I thought that was pretty useless now, and the 'Mithril package' was a better thing to get?

Can you say more about the Steam package?

Why it is or isn't worth it? What does the Moria box get you the others don't?

Moria box should give you VIP for a month, and all characters you create in that time should have full access to all 5 bags, traits, racials, the good legendaries and gold limit removed.

What server are/do you play on? I'm on Brandywine.

So, aren't the packages and the box complementary? Though I'm sure there's a best order for what to use to get the most benefit (who knows what chars I'd want).

I don't play yet; some time ago I installed it and made a char, I don't remember what server. That coin in the steam package sounds pretty useful? And the content?

Mines of Moria Box - Unlocks all Moria content, Warden and Runekeeper class, I think 2 more character slots, unlocks all bags, removes gold cap, 500 free TP, and 30 day VIP access.

Cost - Free*

Mithril Edition - Mount, 2000TP (over $20 value), Path of the Fellowship quests**
Cost - $30

Steam Edition - Mount, 1000TP (over $10 value), 25% XP token, Quest Packs***
Cost - $15

So you have the MOM box already, and already invested $30 in the Mithril Edition. To be honest, if you plan on playing the game for a while, the extra $15 for the Steam Edition is well worth it to you. You basically have almost the entire game unlocked for $45, plus have 3500TP, which is well on your way to getting the Siege of Mirkwood expansion and Rise of Isengard expansion, or use it for more character slots or unlock crafting tiers.

If it were me, and I weren't already a lifetime member, I'd buy it.

* You already own it, otherwise $20 dollars on Amazon
** Includes Trollshaws, Eregion, Mines of Moria, and Lothlorien
***Northdowns, Evendim, and Misty Mountains
