The fuggin ground is green with pollen! It is actually hazy from the airborne pathogens. According to this site,an extremely high pollen count is around 120 or so. It feels like there is sand in my eyes at all times. For those in the know, can you taste the pollen in your mouth? I can, and its nasty. Ahh, springtime in Georgia, aint nothing like it!

Peace

That explains a lot. I woke up this morning and saw all the cars covered in the stuff, but figured it was because I was gone all weekend, and it'd built up over the past few days.

Dammit. Pollen is a pain in the a$$.

i live in kennesaw (just northwest of atlanta) and it blows. pollen sucks. I went and bought generic brand claritin and it really helped my puffy eyes and sneezing ... and the california duster helps my car!

It's dumb in AL too. I've NEVER IN MY LIFE been allergic to anything, but have spent the last week dripping out of my nose.

We supposedly have a high count in Arizona today too. *shrug* I don't have allergies so i wouldn't know. 😛

That's what I used to say. Never, ever been allergic to anything until last week. It's like walking through snow here.

Wow. Never experienced something like that, not even in Minnesota springs. I am allergic to the mold spores back home though...or something in my parents' old house.

In MS we've had it covering everything too. My car was layered with the stuff and I never got around to rinsing it off but mother nature took care of that today with a rainstorm. My poor daughter though, she's been suffering with her allergies. Thankfully it doesn't affect me so I can fully enjoy the best time of the year - Spring!!

The air actually has a green tinge to it. You can see the crap blowing around when you drive. My daughter is suffering a bit too, and we got her some childrens Clairitin and it seemedto help a bit. But with the count so high and expected to go even higher, I dont know how much more it can block.

Peace

Yeah. I was going to wash my car today but decided it wasn't worth it. It'll be greenish-yellow again in 1.5 days. 🙁

Claritin is saving my life right now.
