loowwww score in 3dmark 03

Just downloaded 3dmark 03 and ran the test... my score ended up being like 9500.. with my AMD 2100+ my score was like 10800... my current system is this

AMD 64 3400+
1 GIG samsung ram
80 gig WD hard drive
480w power supply
GeForce 6800

If anyone has a comparable system and can share their scores that would help or if anyone can tell me why my 2100 had a better score even though i should have only HALF the FPS that my system should achieve now.. please let me know.. this is really bugging me and i can not figure it out, thanks

Make sure you have the newest chipset drivers, the ones from your motherboard cd will usually caused this decrease.

well my motherboard is a DFI lanpart UT 250gb.. and i never installed the drives off the disk i had the ones downloaded from Nvidia.. so now im really stumped.. i searched both Nvidia and amd's pages looking for a driver i might have missed.. im still stumped

There is no way you scored 10800 with a stock XP2100+. Maybe you are confusing the score from 3DMark2001?

Also, the A64 score isn't very low at all. Most A64 scores in the ORB are in the 10k range, and we all know that most of those are overclocked in some way.

say what you want.. i have no reason to make this up, my athlong 2100+ did infact score higher, and ive heard rumors of people hitting 27000 with an overclocked 3400+ and x800 PE, not sure how much truth is behind that statement but if what he is saying is true i should be hitting atleast 17000

You are definitely mixing up the benchmarks. Just look at the 3DMark03 Hall of Fame.
