i have a asus cusl2-c, crucial 256 pc 133 cas2, lynksys network card, tnt2 video card, scsi card, ibm 10000 rpm hard drive, kenwood true 52x, dvd player, ls 120. ok in september i got up to college and plugged it in and blew a capacitor, unplugged it quickly, well about a two weeks later i got another PS (wpower dynapower U.S.A 300w) it worked fine till about thanksgiving and then it just shut off in the middle of typing a paper. it will just shut off for no reson and then won't start back up, unless i unplug the power cord and wait about 5 to 10 min sometimes longer, then it will start back up. if it is unplugged all night it will run most of the day, then in the evening it'll die. if any one has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Hmm... That is not good as my newest case came with a Dynapower 300W PS. I closely inspected it and it does not seem as well made as my Sparkle 300W but when I tried it, it worked perfectly. My first guess is that something is shorting out inside the PS. I had this happen with a Hipro 300W. It would make this strange noise then the system would shut down. It could also be that something else in your system was damaged when the first one went up and is causing the problem. I would suggest trying another PS first.
