Daddy's going to be relaxin' this weekend. It's an 8x8 jacuzzi that will fit 7-8 easily.

Well, actually it will probably be a few weeks out since I have to finish the electrical work and the rest of the deck.

Couple of weekends ago my wife and I put in the 8x8 concrete pad for it. If you look close enough you can see piers and beam anchors for the decks beams that I will be installing this weekend. Then I will work on the decking after that. I have some extras that I will be putting in that I can hopefully show off in the following months. Yes months, the deck is about 750 sq feet and I'm the only one doing it.

And yes, I realize it isn't centered with the windows, but it is centered between the porch on the left and the house wall on the right. Also on the left, you can see a hole that eventually will be a fish pond (the deck will be built around it), so I couldn't go much further left. Also, eventually, I want to knock out the windows on the right wall and install french doors since it leads into the bedroom.

they are definitely nice.

I have a 6 man one I paid $200.00 for that I have put another $400.00 or so into.

We use it nightly and its a godsend. 103 degree water with 40 degree temps outside=heaven.

rhtubs.com is an excellent source of info for tubs. They have a nice forums section.

Yes, a bit of cement work to say the least. Nothing like going through the mud and weeds to get to the jacuzzi. :D

no, no, no. I purposely had them leave off the siding because I am building a deck around it. I will put on my own siding to match the deck. It also saved me a few hundred bucks.
