Half of that is probably malpractice insurance alone, thanks to a..holes such as John R. Edwards.
Basically it looks like they did a study and cant figure out what the results mean.
Where do I sign up to do one of these?
BTW international leaders dont come to the United States because there isnt a significant advantage to our system.
Candiens are always coming into Minnesota for Health care and all I ever hear from people from the UK is how shatty thier health care system is and how expensive it costs.
I think the easiest way to not have a higher health care cost is to not see the damned doctor every 15 mins because of a cough. I went to the doc once last year and it cost me 15 bucks for the co-pay. But you have these lifers who are in there every other hour with a new problem which drives costs up.

Yep. People think vampires are a myth but they're not. Lawyers are bloodsuckers. They continuously suck. They suck in general, and they suck in particular. They suck, suck, suck, suck, suck. They suck the life, energy, welfare, and MONEY right out of society. Yet they put nothing back in return.
Lawyers create nothing. They just suck whatever it is they're sucking- DRY.
BTW, did I mention that lawyers suck?
And you base that rhetoric upon what exactly?
Do some research and get back to us, mmmkay? I bet you'll find R&D and fraud to be a much larger factor to higher medical costs than malpractice suits.
