What else would we expect from this colossal clusterfrack of a president?
It's what the majority expect from him

"
President Donald Trump signed an order last month to end separations of children from their families at the border, but hundreds of families have yet to be reunited. Monday's filing indicates many parents may have been deported while their children remain in U.S. immigration shelters.

The status report to Southern California U.S. District Judge Dana M. Sabraw, in an update between plaintiffs and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the 463 cases are "under review," and in those cases the adult "is not in U.S.""

This immigration roundup is working out well.

Fakenews though right?
MAGA

Sounds like some serious human rights violations to me.

No wonder they withdrew from the U.N. human rights council...they knew they could no longer abide by the rules.

Well normally I wouldn't fault a President for errors made by others under their administration, but Trump was pretty pushy about this approach until the heat got too much. The red flags that things were not ok were all over the place. He bears a lot of responsibility here and not just for being at the top.

I'm pretty sure that the separation of children from their families and the inability of our government to join them back up was a feature not a bug.

Yeah I mean what’s almost one third of the children anyway? Close enough!
Right from my quote that you quoted: "The court also heard the majority, or 1,112 parents, had already been reunified." What's a majority, little spider? Keep spinning bro

Yeah, and they still have two days left for the other two thirds, easy peasy?
What's a criminal? What's a DNA test? What's a human trafficker? So they have 2 days left to find one third (not two), the majority which probably won't qualify due to my questions.

One Speedy. One is too many. This is probably too much to ask but what if it was your kid?

Also Chucky Fucking Cheese can keep track of kids and parents but ICE can’t? That’s a complete failure of leadership.

2 out of 3 so far is pretty dam good when taking into account traffickers/smugglers/criminals. If it was my kid? It wouldn't be my kid b/c we wouldn't get caught. Only idiots get caught.

How many years are we going to have to wait, for congress to pass sensible immigration reform? In the meantime, people should know the perils of bring their children with them, illegally. Stop coming until there is a lawful passage that makes it possible to legally immigrate. I place part of the blame on the parents and part of it on us.
Fix this shit!

Are you familiar with the term, asylum? Are you aware of how it works and whether or not we've signed treaties in how we treat asylum seekers?

Yeah, I am. Not everyone who applies for asylum gets their request granted. Not all asylum seekers are legit and some of the kids who come with them are only actors, not their actual children. Deeper looks are required. If you don't think any of that is a potential problem, you are not paying enough attention.
I am fully in favor of granting asylum to legitimate people. So, what are you on about again?

I'm saying, bring your own ass here first and see if you can pass muster. Leave the kids behind and you won't have the problems. Every responsible parent should know this, instinctively.

Trump has denied any asylum seekers any due process so...

That's bullshit and you know it. Be less partisan and more responsible with your statements. Trump does not have the authority to act so autonomous, or federal judges would block his acts, if they were deemed illegal, or unconstitutional. Now I need citation, as to where he was able to successfully deny "due process".

Well the statement that Trump has denied everyone due process is indeed bullshit, yet there is evidence that violation of due process has indeed occurred. In order for a judge to block actions, they need to hear a case in their courtroom. That takes time. Still, 17 states have filed suit along those grounds: https://www.jurist.org/news/2018/06...istrations-zero-tolerance-immigration-policy/

There have been media reports of people being flat lied to such as being handed paperwork authorizing their deportation when they are being told that signing it is in order to expedite their asylum hearing.

Considering people who do get actual due process for an asylum claim are given a court date that is far in the distance and are not guaranteed any legal representation for their case, violation of that means they are deported despite an arguable asylum claim. The people most vulnerable to this action are the ones who have the least resources, least English proficiency, limited or no family or contacts in the United States to help. If their claim is legit, that means they have exhausted attempts to escape persecution within their home country and likely have taken huge risks and mobilized all their resources to reach the United States. When you send that person back to their country of origin, would you find it likely that somehow they would be able to bring suit against the US for denying them due process? Obviously not.

Its not bullshit at all. Trump issued executive orders to implement his zero tolerance policy. All people trying to enter this country without authorization (which would include asylum seekers) were to be charged with a misdemeanor crime and deported.

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/20/immigration-asylum-seekers-zero-tolerance-641181

https://news.vice.com/en_us/article...er-policy-is-rounding-up-legal-immigrants-too

President Trump's administration has repeatedly said his “zero tolerance” border policy applies only to migrants who illegally try to cross into the United States. But his hard-line approach also ensnares asylum seekers attempting to enter legally, local advocates told VICE News.

I'm always amazed when people defend politicians when they aren't even aware of what policies their politicians support/enable.
