Looks like there is going to be an F1 race in New Jersy.

Formula One, the richest and most popular form of international motorsport, is coming to Greater New York in 2013.

According to two people familiar with the matter, the London-based racing circuit will announce next week that the Formula One Grand Prix of America will take place in June 2013 on a road course mapped out in Weehawken and West New York along the Hudson River—against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.

2 US races, awesome.

A lot of risk having to pay Bernie 25M Pounds an event. Korea is already trying to renegotiate their contract after reports they lost $50MM on the Korean GP this year.

I wonder how many races there will be before it is too much for the drivers and teams. Off season this year is about four months and you have winter testing as well... Bernie is definitely milking F1 for all it is worth now.

Probably have to look at races to cut in the future. Valencia is boring as hell if not for the scenery. Korea would at this point be the logical choice. Racers seem to hate Abu Dhabi but there is money there. Bahrain should not be on 2013 schedule. I can't see having more than 20 races in that it will also screw up some of the long-time records...
